Good question. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve.

For sleep you can apply to your big toe, your wrists, or even the back of your neck. For focus I would recommend your temples, but your wrists can work, too. If you are targeting a specific area, put directly there. For allergies, put it on your chest for respiratory, but directly on the effected area if you are experience skin reactions. For immune support, I take them internally in a gel cap.
