
3 ounces of beeswax – you can use the yellow or white versions
2 tablespoons coconut oil
4 ounce mason jar, empty candle jar, seashells, ...
Cotton wick
Essential oils (Lavendar, Womans Blend, Bergamot, Wild Orange, Repellant Blend for mosquito repellant, …)
Optional – food colorings to tint the candles to your liking
1. Place beeswax in glass bowl or larger mason jar, and set inside a pot of boiling water until melted. (You can use the microwave if you wish.) Stir often.
2. Remove from heat and add essential oils and/or coloring. (About 15 drops total - Adjust to your liking.)
3. Quickly poor into jars and insert wick. You can tape wick on a pencil to keep it straight.
4. When candles have dried, trim the wick and enjoy!
Beeswax Melts
Just melt the beeswax and add your favorite oil. Pour into molds (ice cube tray, egg or soap molds, …) You can pop it into the freezer if you want it to solidify quickly.
